En el marco del día Nacional de la Dignificación de las Víctimas, un grupo de académicos Mexican, Guatemalan and international sent a public letter addressed to the President of Guatemala, given the distressing state of insecurity and impunity that prevails in the country 14 years ago when they were signed the Peace Accords.
In the letter, students requested that the Guatemalan president do the necessary to pass the bill 3590, which aims to form a search committee for missing persons in the civil war. The conflict in the country resulted in 45 000 people missing.
