Sulla strada del ritorno, al passare dalla comunità di San José Ixcanichel circa 70 membri di questa comunità intercettarono il passaggio ed incominciarono a colpire varie persone che erano nell'autobus, tra di loro Aniseto López è stato picchiato insieme a più persone e senza potersi difendere, dato che i manifestanti avevano armi, pietre, armi bianche, bastoni e subito la comunità di San José Ixcaniche e la famiglia Mejía hanno sequestrato 50 persone e le hanno minacciate di morte.
