SIENA - The Province of Siena, in collaboration with ISPRA Federparchi, FNSI-National Federation of the Italian press, Legambiente and the project "Republic @ SCHOOL 1 promote journalism award" Telling Biodiversity "with the aim of exploiting all forms of good, original and effective dissemination of topics related to biodiversity, the factors of threat , action to protect species and habitats and the effects of biodiversity loss on ecosystem function.
The Award was established in the fifth edition of "Shipyards of Biodiversity", an event unique in the national and, since 2006, meets annually to Siena leading experts in the field, comparing them with the technical-scientific community di tutta Italia. Nell'anno internazionale della Biodiversità, la Provincia di Siena, ISPRA-Istituto superiore di protezione e ricerca ambientale, e Federparchi hanno scelto di arricchire la formula dei "Cantieri" con una terza giornata di dibattito e riflessione aperta al pubblico e alla stampa e con l'istituzione del premio giornalistico "Raccontare la Biodiversità".
Questa iniziativa è organizzata, oltre che dagli storici soggetti promotori dei Cantieri della Biodiversità, anche dalla FNSI-Federazione nazionale della stampa italiana, dall'associazione Legambiente e dal quotidiano La Repubblica, attraverso il progetto Repubblica@SCUOLA.
Chi può partecipare. Il premio è aperto a giornalisti professionisti , pubblicisti e praticanti, che abbiano pubblicato articoli e/o inchieste in materia di biodiversità su quotidiani o periodici, sia su carta stampata che su siti web, e agli studenti delle scuole secondarie di primo e secondo grado degli istituti di tutta Italia,
iscritti al progetto "Repubblica@SCUOLA" o al progetto "Classi per l'Ambiente" di Legambiente, che pubblicheranno un articolo o racconto in materia di biodiversità su www.repubblicascuola.it 2 o
www.legambientescuolaformazione.it 3 .
Come si partecipa. Gli articoli or investigations published in newspapers or periodicals, both in print and on websites can be submitted by the author or anyone else, sending the material to the following address: raccontarelabiodiversita@provincia.siena.it 4. The texts written by students will be selected in the projects "Republic @ SCHOOL 5 and" Classes for the Environment "Environment League.
